FFFWeek Day 1 - Ashley Stewart Blogger Breakfast

HELLO NYC!!!

I just got here yesterday morning and I hit the ground running. If you are new to my blog, every year I go to an event in NYC called Full Figured Fashion Week. It's a week long series of events devoted to curvy girl fashion, and I love every minute of it - I'm addicted!

This year I am rooming with two lovely bloggers - Marie from The Curvy Fashionista, and Gaelle from The Curvy and Curly Closet. We had a blast just chatting and observing each others' grooming routines last night and this morning. I love these ladies!

This morning was the first event of the week - the Ashley Stewart Blogger Breakfast. It was so great to finally meet so many of my favourite bloggers in real life and reconnect with some I've already had the opportunity to hang out with. Everyone's fashion was really on-point! It's so fantastic to be able to connect with like-minded (and like-bodied) people!

It was a lovely breakfast and Ashley Stewart has a lot of great things in store for A/W 2013. Look for lots of leatherette and military chic pieces.

What I Wore - Dress - American Rag via Macy's/Shoes - New Look/Handbag - Your Big Sister's Closet/Necklace - Forever 21

I think that you should need to choose most flattering style which also fits you as to your natural contours as possible. A comfortable cloth always makes you a confident look, so it is very important to use comfort level dress, this makes you appear attractive and stylish too.
