Outfit of the Day: Casual at School

Hey Guys,

Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I know, it's uncharacteristic of me. Things just get really busy, and before you know it, it's been almost two weeks since your last post! :S

I have a lot of really cool stuff coming up on the blog - I styled MTV's Sheena Snively in an MTV FORA video which should be coming out soon, as well as organized a trip for Toronto fashion bloggers to Lane Bryant in Walden Galleria, and attended a Toronto plus size fashion show, entitled The Time is Now, put on by On the Curve Events, so when I say I was busy, I really mean it, lol! Those posts should all be coming up very soon (in the next week or so), so hopefully I will make up for my absence on here by giving you a few really awesome posts soon!

This outfit was one I wore to school, and I think it was a Friday, so I was working a more casual look. It was too cold out to take pictures in the natural light, so sorry about that... :( I hate Winter!

Outfit of the Day - Teaching in my new Torrid Boots!!!

Hey Guys,

This is just a regular outfit of the day post. I wore this to school to teach in. It was a very comfy outfit to wear, but I got a couple of compliments on it (on my lipstick and my new boots, courtesy of Torrid), and I felt pretty good in it! I noticed my students checking out my style too, so that was nice! What do you guys think?

These are the fabulous new over-the-knee suedette boots Torrid sent to me. The colour looks a little funny in this picture. It's just the light. They're black... See below.

I added this one so you could see my new lipstick shade - So Chaud by MAC. Love it!

Many thanks to Torrid for the awesome boots! What do you guys think of the lipstick shade? It's really orange-y and awesome. I saw another blogger, Fat Aus, wearing it, and I just had to grab it, so when I had my 6 empties, I went down to MAC and traded them in for this! It's not a shade for the faint of heart, that's for sure! Stay tuned for a post on where to find awesome hallowe'en costumes in plus sizes! I should be writing that in the next couple of days.

The people at Torrid, who have fantastic stuff (especially wide calf boots - they're like, the only place I shop for boots!) sent me these boot-iful wellies, and I've decided to give them away to one lucky winner to celebrate this milestone!

About the boots: They are brand new and came to me directly from Torrid. Torrid will be releasing these wellies later this month, so they're not even available in stores yet. They are a lovely berry colour. They are a US size 10 (UK 7, I think), and the calf circumference around the outside of the boot is 18", so they would fit well for someone with calves that measure 17.5" or less.
