Away at a Conference... Sorry for the Delay!!!

Hey Guys!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I've been away at a conference in Kalamazoo, Michigan giving an academic paper. My presentation went REALLY well. Everyone really liked it and I got a lot of really positive feedback. And of course I've been one of the best dressed at this conference (but that's really nothing to boast about - medievalists have a bad reputation for wearing ugly or sometimes just outrageous things. I saw a woman today wearing a traditional dutch hat. If you don't know what that is:

So anyways, for my presentation, I wanted to wear something professional, but that was still "me." I opted for my black infiniti travel dress which I got from Ebay and a blazer that you might recognize from my recent salvation army haul video. I also wore a pair of clip-on earrings that I got from that salvation army. While I was at the conference, one of the earrings was bugging my ear and I took it off for a minute, and I noticed the monogram A.S on the inside of the earring. Wondering what they meant I searched for more markings and found out that they are actually vintage Alfred Sung! I got them for 25 cents! Similar pairs go for $30-50 on etsy and ebay. I was so excited to find out that I have a good eye. LOL. So without any further ado, here is the outfit. Hope you like! Like I said earlier, I was going for a more professional, put together look, so not as quirky or eclectic as my normal style. Do you think I achieved it?
